The Boulton, Watt and Murdoch statue is on the move

In preparation for the tram being extended to the west of Birmingham, one of Birmingham’s most iconic statues, Boulton, Watt and Murdoch, has today been temporarily removed from its familiar site opposite the Library of Birmingham. Birmingham Museums Trust is responsible the public artwork and cares for the statue on behalf of Birmingham City Council.

Boulton, Watt and Murdoch will return to public view in late 2018.
