Utility works begin for Edgbaston extension

In preparation for trams running to Edgbaston by 2021, some enabling utility works are currently taking place in Birmingham City Centre, including water main utilities in Ryland Street.

Currently, and for up to 12 weeks, there is traffic management in place meaning that there is no exit from Ryland Street onto Broad Street.

Midland Metro Alliance continues to work with the local community to ensure that pedestrians, road users and cyclists are informed of all of our works in advance of them taking place via one to one engagement and traditional methods including directional signage.

If you’ve any questions about these works or other, please get in touch at communications@metroalliance.co.uk.
