2.1.1. Reproduction of information and documents from our website

Reproduction for non-commercial purposes of information, images and documents from the Midland Metro Alliance website is authorised provided that you acknowledge the Midland Metro Alliance as the source.

As a general rule, any reproduction of information, images and documents from the Midland Metro Alliance website carried out in the course of a commercial activity will require our permission. All requests should be submitted to us by the following web form.

The Midland Metro Alliance (and partner company) logos and trademarks are exclusive property of the Midland Metro Alliance and the associated partner companies. Their use is prohibited without the prior written permission of the company in question.

2.1.2. Third party material

The permission mentioned under Section 2.1.1. does not apply to third party material. Therefore, for material where copyright is vested in a third party, permission for use and reproduction must be obtained from that third party.

3. Usage of the website

3.1. Personal data protection

The right to protection of personal data is a fundamental right foreseen in the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. The Midland Metro Alliance is therefore highly committed to ensuring the protection of the personal data of the individuals it works with, regardless of whether they are website users, stakeholders, individuals, members of public, staff members or job applicants. We will process any personal data we collect in line with the provisions of Regulation (EC) N° 45/2001 on the protection of the individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

Personal data shall only be processed for the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest on the basis of EU law or in the legitimate exercise of an official authority vested in the Midland Metro Alliance. Alternatively, processing is lawful if it forms part of a legal or contractual obligation or when the individual concerned has given their unambiguous consent.

As a general rule, anyone has the right to be informed about the processing of their personal data, while they will also have the right to access that information at any time and to rectify it when it is inaccurate or incomplete.

To make a request for information held about yourself subject to the Data Protection act 1998, please write to: The Head of Engagement at our address, ensuring you are as precise as possible as to what information you require to be sent to you.

The Midland Metro Alliance has 40 working days to provide you with information requested under the Data Protection Act. Information will be sent to the address provided by you and we may contact you before sending it to ensure you requested your information. We will not email personal information to you.

3.2. E-services

The Midland Metro Alliance is committed to user privacy. You can browse our website without giving away any personal information. However, in some cases, personal details are required in order for us to be able to provide personal e-services, for instance in providing your feedback or requesting support on an issue.

In this respect:

  • For each specific e-service, the Midland Metro Alliance determines the purposes and methods of the processing of personal data and ensures conformity of the specific e-service with the privacy policy;

3.3. Cookies on the Agency’s website

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). 4.1 Information regarding emails we send you

The information contained in the e-mail or attachments sent by the Midland Metro Alliance is intended only for its addressee and may contain confidential information. If you have received such an e-mail in error, please notify the sender and delete the e-mail. If you are not the intended recipient, you are hereby notified, that saving, distribution or use of the content of such e-mail in any way is prohibited.

We use updated virus protection software. We do not accept any responsibility for damages caused by viruses transmitted via e-mail.
